It's 6:53 am, and I'm back in my room now after spending the last several hours at the clubs on Hat Rin Nai. The Full Moon Party is not until tonight, but for the last couple of nights leading up to tonight, the clubs at Hat Rin Nai have been open all night.

I got to the beach at about 2am. The clubs are along the edge of the sand, so that while you're on the dancefloor, you can look out across the sand (and the people dancing thereon) to the surf. Tonight, there were three main clubs open: The Cactus Bar, The Zoom Bar, and The Drop In Bar.

The Cactus Bar happened to be the one that I got to first because it's closest to Hat Rin Nai, and they were playing pretty good music, so I went there first for a while. After about an hour or so, the DJ started playing slow songs, like House of Pain's Jump Around, and the "You Down Wit O.P.P." song, so I left and got some Muu Yang (roast pork) on sticks from a vendor. Yes, on Hat Rin Nai, theres food vendors at 3am.

After I ate my roast pork, I walked down the beach past The Vinyl Bar to The Zoom Bar, where they were playing great music. I stayed there until about 6am

I've had a shower, and now I'm just waiting for the shop downstairs to open so I can drop my clothes in to be washed, because I've only got one pair of long pants. I'm pretty exhausted from dancing for the last 4 hours, so I hope they open soon.
